My homey Charles Bergquist just dropped this little nugget into the universe recently. Pretty cool. I especially like the high sleep dolly moves with the people on the streets etc. Well done Charles!

The new silver Beats are my favorite. Seems like they’ve gotten lighter and tighter than my last pair as well!

The holiday spirit is in full force for many with Christmas several days away. Despite all the encompassing holiday cheer that surrounds this part of the year, it’s important to realize that for many, Christmas is often a difficult time. As many bask in family gatherings, good food and of course the customary presents, for some they’re unfortunately left out in the dark. This makes the following all the more impactful as we’re proud to announce a new charity project from Hypebeast Senior Editor Luis Ruano. Inspired by both the difficulties and hardships endured by his immigrant parents and the infamous Bay Area World Series in 1989 marred by a devastating earthquake, theBattle of the Bay Charity Project looks to make a difference through the raffling of items from Bay Area favorites. In doing so, the project will donate all of the proceeds to charity, including the Children’s Hospital of Oakland to cover both toys and life essentials.
A slew of gift packs – some containing a special Luis Ruano-designed New Era 5950 cap – will be raffled off. A staggering 18 packs have been created thanks to the help of Mister, New Balance, The Hundreds, HUF, Upper Playground, Benny Gold, FTC, Shoe Biz and The Brooklyn Circus.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $5, ending on Wednesday, December 21 at 12 p.m. PST. Full details of the project including rules can be seen here. Be sure to provide hat, shirt and shoe size at the Paypal donation screen.
